Paragon Carousel – Take a ride on the world famous wooden horse carousel which is sponsored by Nantasket Hotel at the Beach. Great place to book a birthday party or fund raiser. Across the water from The Beacon.
Hull Lifesaving Museum – This is the birth place of the
United State Coast Guard. The museum features old
lifesaving boats and equipment all housed in the
original Lifesaving Station. Great children’s programs
and hands on educational tools.
Fort Revere – Visit this revolutionary fort and explore
the tunnels and ramparts which protected the entrance to Boston Harbor from the British. The fort is open for free during the daylight hours. Located about 5 miles from the Beacon.
Nantasket Beach – Swim, fish, walk, jog, collect
seashells whatever you like to do on the beach, it is
a quick ride or short walk from your room.
Nantasket Kayaks – Rent a kayak for an hour or for
the day with guided tours or self tours of the
Weir River Estuary. Greatfun for the whole family.
Surf and Paddle Boarding – Take a surfing or paddle
boarding lesson or venture out on your own on the beach or the calm
Dream Machine and Mini Golf – Located a short walk
from the B&B where kids and adults can play
skee ball and other great games or test their skills at a round of mini golf.
Fascination – This old time game of skill is one
of the few relics left over from Paragon Park. Try
your luck at a ‘Bingo’ type game played with ball
where adults can win money.
Boating and Fishing – Hull features some great marinas and piers to catch the big one! Rent fishing rods across the street from the Nantasket Hotel at the Beach at 115 Nantasket Avenue. Try your luck at striped bass, blue fish, flounder, cod and more…. Or launch your boat just down the streetand enjoy the gateway to Boston Harbor.
Golf & Bowling – The South Shore Country Club in Hingham is only a 3 mile drive from The Beacon. Featuring a full 18 hole public course with virtual indoor golf, full bowling alley and a restaurant with banquet facilities.
South Shore Music Circus – This 1500 seat venue has national and international acts all summer long. Only a 10 minute ride from The Beacon.
Boston is just a short Ferry trip or train ride away from Hull.

or Logan Airport from Hull, Hingham, or Quincy. There
are also Commuter Trains that run from Nantasket
Junction in Hingham (just a three minute drive from the Beacon)

Bridgeman’s: combines a distinctive atmosphere with casual elegance and offers tastefully appointed upper and lower level ocean-view dining rooms, a spacious seasonal outdoor patio with fire table, an open theater-style kitchen, full-service bar seating. Located about a two minute ride from your room. Open year-round.
Schooners Restaurant: is just a few feet north of Bridgeman’s and features award winning clam chowder, seafood, and great American fair. Great for late night cocktails, bar pizza and a full menu that features fresh seafood, pasta, burgers, salads and more…Open year-round.They Deliver!
Marvel’s Lunch Box: Just a few steps beyond Schooner’s. They feature a variety of sandwiches, lobster rolls, burgers and hot dogs for your day at the beach. Open 7 Days a Week, from May to September. Serving Breakfast, too, at 7:00 a.m.
Dalat: Featuring amazing Vietnamese food including a cozy sushi bar, and a full cocktail bar and dining room. Family owned and operated.
Jake’s Seafood Restaurant: Located about a minute and a half drive from your room. Probably the most famous restaurant in Hull. Great fried and fresh seafood with a fresh seafood market. Full bar and great views from every seat. Outdoor dining available. Across from the world famous Paragon Carousel.
Pizza Box:: Delivers pizza, calzones, burgers, subs and more….
Corner Stop: Located about a 1-1/2 mile from the hotel. The Corner Stop features modern American food in a beautifully redesigned setting. Check their website for more information.
Mezzo Mare: located about one mile from the Beacon is Hull’s real authentic Italian restaurant with a very interesting decor. They also have the Beach Food Market serving the best subs anywhere in Hull. They have wood-fired cooked pizza, and the restaurant has a full bar and extensive wine list. Open year- round. They don’t have a website so you will need to call 781-925-0584 for more information.
The Red Parrot: The Red Parrot features seafood and local specials along with live entertainment, a beach bar, outside deck bar with great views and a ‘speak easy’ bar for KENO players. They feature great oyster specials along with an extensive beer and specialty drink menu. Many hi-def TV’s featuring all of your favorite sports channels. Open year round….
Daddy’s Beach Club: Just down from the Red Parrot it features New Haven style pizza, live entertainment 7 days a week, and a cool hot dog stand located next door. They deliver! This ‘club’ has been around for years under names like Billy Mitchell’s Post Time and the Dry Dock.
Paragon Grill : Located at the Nantasket Beach Resort and features breakfast, lunch and dinner with an outdoor deck during nice weather. Full bar, friendly bartenders, entertainment, and trivia.
Weinberg’s Bakery: Hull’s most famous bakery. President Clinton used to request their bagels anytime he was in Boston. Full bakery featuring fresh coffee, creative sandwiches, pizza on the weekends and more….
Tosca: Located about three miles from our hotel at the entrance to Hingham Square. This upscale restaurant features an array of Italian specialties with an outstanding wine selection, freshly baked bread and seasonal specialties.
